Mervine- Merritt

Nathaniel C. Merritt and Leah R. Mervine

Barbara I. and Lawrence E. Mervine, formerly of East Amherst, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah R. Mervine, to Nathaniel Carpenter Merritt, son of Donna C. Biro of Amherst and Robert Paul Merritt of Rochester.

Miss Mervine graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1994. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in 1999. She earned a Master of Social Work degree and Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law, both in 2007.

She has a clerkship with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1996. He is a student at Nazareth College, working on a degree in social work.

A July 2008 wedding is planned.
