Wedding canopy made by bride's mother

Kara Rohe married Zachary Rosenthal under a chuppa (wedding canopy) made by the bride's mother, in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 at Pasadera Country Club in Monterey, Calif. Neil Desroches, assistant district attorney for the State of Massachusetts and friend of the bride and groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Donna and Robert Rohe of Depew. The groom is the son of Betsy Rosenthal of Monterey and Robert and Carol Rosenthal, also of Monterey.
The bride was escorted by her father to the Brad Paisley song "She's Everything," which was chosen by the groom.
She wore an ivory A-line gown with a beaded bodice and duplicate beading on the pleated, semi cathedral-length train. She also wore a fingertip-length veil and carried a bouquet of fall flowers in golds, oranges and browns.
The bridesmaids were Laura Maslanka and Amy Rohe-Kipp, sisters of the bride, and Sandra Saleron, Amber Hadisoenarto, Barb Ginis, Laura Flores and Sherri Smetana, friends of the bride.
The ushers were Josh and Willie Rosenthal, brothers of the groom; John Rohe, brother of the bride; and Nick Cina, Steve Summers and Justin Casas, friends of the groom.
A reception was held at the Pasadera Country Club. The couple will make their home in Denver after a honeymoon in Paris.
