Juanita Greenawalt and Brian Slobe

Wendy and Richard Greenawalt of Niagara Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Juanita Greenawalt, of Williamsville, to Brian Slobe, son of Phillip Slobe of Oswego, N.Y., and the late Joan Slobe.

Miss Greenawalt graduated from Niagara Catholic High School in 1991. She received an associate degree in culinary arts from Niagara County Community College in 1996, a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from Buffalo State College in 1997 and a master's degree in business from Canisius College in 2006. She is director of marketing at Schmidt's Collision & Glass.

Her fiance graduated from Bishop Cunningham High School in Oswego in 1992 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Niagara University in 1997. He is a technician at Choice One Communications.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
