O'Connell & Company will be winging it Buffalo style with song, satire and skits as "Buffalo Zings In 3D!" continues through Nov. 18 at Cabaret in the Square Theatre.
The O'Connell & Company original returns with a third season of political satire, song parodies and funny tongue-in-cheek barbs hurled at every political affiliation. For instance, George W. Bush, who once said: "My job is a decision-making job. And as a result, I make a lot of decisions." Or, when former first lady Nancy Reagan was asked a political question at a Just Say No rally: "I didn't intend for this to take on a political tone. I'm just here for the drugs."
The zinger of a production features Pat Armstrong, David Butler, Sheila Connors, Leon Michael Hicks, Mary Moebius, Mary Kate O'Connell, Dan Schroeder and Guy Tomassi.
"Buffalo Zings In 3D!" was conceived and directed by Mary Kate O'Connell, with musical direction by Dan Schroeder and choreography by Bobby Cooke.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 p.m. Sundays at 4476 Main St. at Harlem Road, Snyder.
