Pair at home in Lancaster after trip to St. Lucia

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blatner III
Marissa Dziewa married Richard Blatner III in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Church in Elma. The Rev. Daniel J. Palys officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lisa and David Dziewa of Cheektowaga. The groom is the son of Mary Beth and Richard Blatner Jr. of Lancaster.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white French strapless couture satin, A-line gown with a long bodice adorned with shimmering crystals and silver beading; deep moffits surrounded the hemline of the cathedral length train. She wore a rhinestone tiara and star-dusted, fingertip length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white, yellow and pink roses with white lilies and white stephanotis with pearl centers.

The maid of honor was Lauren Hardie, cousin of the bride. The matron of honor was Stacey Blatner, sister-in-law of the groom. The bridesmaids were Beth Hardie and Sarah Dziewa, cousins of the bride; Kathleen Borowski and Ashley Blatner, cousins of the groom; and Jessica Rautenstrauch, Katherine McDonald, Nichole Becker and Michelle Palombaro, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Natalie Burgio, cousin of the bride, and Amaya Blatner, niece of the groom.

The best men were Jason and Philip Blatner, brothers of the groom. The ushers were Adam Blatner and Nathan Haberer, cousins of the groom; Brian Dziewa, brother of the bride; and Daniel Donohue, Steven Knab, Matthew Sabia and Joseph Gawron, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Landon Blatner, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at the Millennium Airport Hotel in Cheektowaga.

The couple are at home in Lancaster after a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
