Couple wed in afternoon ceremony

Jennifer Marie Luka married John Michael Griveas in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Hamburg. The Rev. Joe Bayne officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marie Luka and Thomas Luka, both of Hamburg. The groom is the son of Kathy and Glenn Griveas of West Falls.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Jamie Evans, friend of the bride.

The best man was Tony Nally, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga.

The couple will make their home in Orchard Park after a honeymoon to Walt Disney World and Maui.
