Cheektowaga Bee editor, bride travel to Orlando

Mr. and Mrs. Keaton DePriest

Caitlin Briggs married Keaton DePriest in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at St. Joseph's Church in Batavia. Monsignor Leo McCarthy officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Janet and Bruce Briggs of Batavia. The groom is the son of Kim DePriest and Roger DePriest, both of Cheektowaga.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white, A-line satin gown with beaded chiffon split front overlay and a chapel-length train. Her teardrop veil was finished with a scalloped beaded edge. She carried a bouquet of white and pink roses.

The maid of honor was Rebecca Briggs, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Sarah DePriest, sister of the groom, and Barbara Fritts, Bethany Zinni, Suzanne Leyden and Tracy Dare, friends of the bride.

The best man was Joseph Beang, friend of the groom. The ushers were Raymond Murphy and Darryl Brandt, cousins of the groom; Thomas Briggs, brother of the bride; and Joseph Pannullo and Matthew Boorman, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at Terry Hills Golf Club in Batavia. The couple are at home in Williamsville after a honeymoon to Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.
