SHIRTS FOR CHARITY - The junior class at Amherst Central High School sold red shirts for a fundraiser during homecoming this year. The shirt, designed by Marina Leontaritis, is a takeoff of the GAP "Red" theme, which is a partial fundraiser to fight AIDS in Africa. One dollar of every shirt sold by the class of 2009, totaling $120, went to AIDS Family Services of Buffalo. Pictured from left are vice president Amanda Kapus, president Daniel Cooper, secretary Abbie Gowen and treasurer Emily Wilhelm. Class advisers Erin Esford and Anne Ward are not pictured.
