LEAGUE CHAMPS - The Amherst Lightning Blue 18U girls fastpitch softball team was recognized as the regular season and playoff champions of the Niagara Frontier Girls Softball League 18 and under division at the league's recent awards banquet. The Lightning finished 12-2 and defeated the Diamond Girls, 5-4, in the playoff final.
