St. Greg's swimmers continue win streak

The St. Gregory the Great swim team remains on top of the Neumann Catholic Swim League with a 183-65 victory over SS. Peter and Paul.

The eight and under division had two first place relays - medley (Anne Marren, Matthew Jonas, Kendall Rehak and Emma Gervase) and free (Maeve Christ, Meredith Mc Phee, Kendall Rehak and Margaret Niederpruem).

Christ took first in the 100 individual medley and 25 freestyle. Niederpruem won the 25 butterfly. Lilly Rubino landed a first in the 50 free; Jonas was the best in the 25 breast.

Second and third place points were earned by Julia Tudor, Julia Martin, Meredith Mc Phee, Margaret Niederpruem, Emma Gervase, Ellie Bradley, Lilly Rubino, Kendall Rehak, Anne Martin, Matthew Jonas and Anne Marren.

9-10

The medley (Anna Rubino, Olivia Macdonald, Alexa Bradley and James Pokornowski) and free (Jonathan Jonas, Abby Shanahan, Anthony Kershner and Pokornowski) won.

First place points were earned by Anthony Kershner (50 free), Alexa Bradley (50 fly) and Anna Rubino (100 free, 50 back).

Second and third place points were added by Abby Shanahan, Madeline Stamm, Jackie Adolf, Jonathan Jonas, Alexa Bradley, James Pokornowski, Olivia Macdonald, Jillian Ahrens and Zack Krieger.

11 and older

The medley (Theresa Munroe, Catherine Niederpruem, Patrick Munroe and Shannon Pelitera) and free (Tommy Rubino, Catherine Niederpruem, Shannon Pelitera, and Emil DiNardo) relays won.

First place races were Patrick Munroe (200 IM, 50 back), Theresa Munroe (50, 100 free), Catherine Niederpruem (50 breast), Christina Seminara (200 free).

Second and third place point winners were Alex Anain, Emil DiNardo, Marianna Militello, Lara Macdonald, Christina Seminara, Julietta Gervase, Eric Weiher, Shannon Pelitera and Eva Gorney.
