South modified football beats Lake Shore, moves to 4-1

Two touchdown passes totaling 80 yards by quarterback Jared Shatkin to Billy Jacobbi and key two-point conversions by kicker Joshua Neuss gave Williamsville South the points they needed to seal a 19-6 victory over Lake Shore.

An Eagles' fourth quarter rally was thwarted with a tremendous interception by Tyler Piasecki. Captain Luke Falzone's tough inside running had the Eagles on their heels all day.

Lineman T.J Scamurra, Austin Thomas, Jonathan Castronova, Josh Jacobs, and Alan Ferri played physical football.

The win assured the Billies, coached by Chris Heximer and Chris Murphy, of their first winning season since 1976.
