People Inc. offers training

People Inc. will offer a chapter of the Incredible Years Program for parents, which will offer free training to parents to learn how their children develop, including improving self-esteem and self-concept and decreasing negative behaviors at home The discussion will also include tips on decreasing peer aggression and disruptive behaviors in the classroom.

The Incredible Years Program offers research-based, proven effective programs for reducing children's aggression and behavior problems and increasing social competence at home and at school.

The program will teach parents to cope with the stress of parenthood, avoid power struggles, determine appropriate consequences and develop creative and imaginative play with your child.
