Steffan
Meg Steffan has been named vice president of finance and treasury operations for Amherst-based Independent Health. She will be responsible for Independent Health's financial services, including accounting, taxes, financial reporting, administrative budget, payroll, cash management and investment services. She was most recently director of tax and accounting.

Chris Sterns of Williamsville was recently honored by UPS for completing 20 years of service with the company. A package delivery driver with UPS in Buffalo, he was recognized for his loyal service contributions. Sterns began his career in 1987 as a driver.

Joe Floss, certified insurance counselor of The Floss Agency, located in Amherst, was recently recognized for professional leadership and advanced knowledge by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. A certificate was awarded to Floss, marking more than 15 years of participation as a designated CIC.

Kathy Snyder Egan of Amherst has been named executive vice president of sales for Snyder Corp., the parent company of Beaver Hollow. She also serves on the board of directors for Leadership Buffalo and Buffalo Niagara Partnership Workforce Council, as well as other organizations.

Stanley A. Wyner of Getzville has been named Vistage chair in Buffalo/Niagara. Vistage International is the world's largest CEO membership organization. As chair, he is responsible for building and facilitating groups of chief executives who meet monthly to discuss their business issues, share expertise and provide confidential help in critical situations.

Angela Terranova of Getzville has been hired as an interior designer for Lauer-Manguso & Associates Architects. She had 19 years of experience in the interior design field, which includes commercial and residential sales and management experience.
