YOUNG PHILANTHROPISTS - Windermere Principal Dan Lewis proudly accepts a check for $250, raised by his pupils. Second graders in Gail Eisen's class, Jacklynn Cole, Tanzeem Mahoud, Rachel Banning and DaVon France, presented the check. The money will go towards the new Eggertsville Youth and Community Center. Pupils raised the money by raffling off 13 stuffed animals they received as a donation. The children made a plan and followed through with daily announcements, posters for the building, raffle tickets and a display of the animals.
