Trip to Letchworth follows Glen Oak nuptials

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Kavanagh
Sally Joy Lawrence married Ted Kavanagh in a late afternoon ceremony on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at Glen Oak Golf Course and Banquet Facility in East Amherst. Judge Geoffrey Klein officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann Fenwick and the stepdaughter of Bruce R. Fenwick of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Anne and Patrick Kavanagh of Kenmore.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Peter Lawrence.

She wore an Oleg Cassini strapless gown with a full skirt trimmed with the same lace as the train. The lace bodice was appliqued with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

The maid of honor was Melanie Bowers, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rosemary Lawrence, sister-in-law of the bride; Jennifer Coniglio, Kristy Colella and Erin Callahan, friends of the bride; and Beth Desmond, friend of the bride and groom.

The flower girls were Emma Fenwick, stepniece of the bride, and Zoey Colella, friend of the bride.

The best man was Patrick Kavanagh, brother of the groom. The ushers were Ken Kavanagh, brother of the groom; Bryan Lawrence, brother of the bride; and Robert Hoffman, Brett Welgoss and Steve Espeland, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at Glen Oak Golf Course and Banquet Facility.

After the ceremony, the couple spent a few days at Letchworth State Park. A honeymoon is planned for later in the year.
