Couple celebrate 65 years

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bednasz

Alice and Walter Bednasz of Lancaster celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Burgundy Room in Depew.

Walter Bednasz married the former Alice Kubik on Oct. 24, 1942 at Corpus Christi Church in Buffalo.

Walter is retired from the Eastern Weighing and Inspection Bureau.

The couple are members of St. John Gualbert Church in Cheektowaga

They have three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
