Parents, children celebrate anniversaries together

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wazny

Jacqueline and Thomas Wazny of Blasdell celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with their daughter and son-in-law, who were celebrating their third wedding anniversary, at Red Osier in Batavia.

Thomas Wazny married the former Jacqueline Laudisio on Oct. 7, 1967 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Orchard Park.

Thomas is retired from the Ford Motor Company, where he worked for more than 33 years. Jacqueline is retired from the law offices of Dennis C. Gaughan.

Thomas is an usher at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and a member of the Holy Name Society. Jacqueline is a member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Altar & Rosary Society, as well as president of the Hamburg/Orchard Park Business and Professional Women. Thomas also likes to bowl and play horseshoes. Jacqueline likes to read and work on her computer.

The couple plan on relocating to Mooresville, N.C., where they can enjoy playing golf and boating.

They have three children.
