ECC offers free financial literacy seminars

Erie Community College will be offering a series of free, non-credit financial literacy seminars from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays from Oct. 25 through Dec. 13 at Zion Dominion Church, 895 N. Forest Road, Williamsville.

The program is supported through a grant provided by Senator Mary Lou Rath, R, C, I - Williamsville.

At the seminars, participants will learn how to achieve financial success in the 21st century, including retirement planning, taxation, insurance and the basic elements of investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

Speakers will include financial services professionals and ECC faculty.
