Hair stylists find silver lining after fire destroys business

      Last month fire destroyed Chang's Garden Restaurant on Maple Road, taking Salon John Paul with it. Four women, who had been working as stylists at the salon, found themselves without a place to work. But they say what happened next, reminded them that Buffalo is the city of good neighbors.

Quota Club holds annual event, marks 65 years

      Quota International of Amherst is celebrating its 65th year in existence. However, the organization has older roots which are close to home as well. Quota International was founded by a group of five women in Buffalo after they attended a 1918 Kiwanis Club meeting.
