Ashley and Amanda Kotz, both Williamsville East High School graduates, helped the St. Bonaventure softball team earned the highest cumulative team grade point average in the nation for Division I softball in 2006-07.

It is the second straight year the Bonnies' softball team earned the honor. The team's GPA is 3.622.

Ashley, a shortstop/third baseman, and Amanda, an outfielder, are elementary education and special education majors. Both had 3.83 GPAs for the 2007 spring semester.

St. Bonaventure finished with the program's second .500 or better record with an 18-18 mark since joining the Atlantic 10. The Bonnies' 18 victories rank third in club history.
