Teens arrested in deliveryman robberies

Amherst Police believe they have found the suspects responsible for two recent armed robberies in which pizza deliverymen were the victims.

Police arrested Daryl Morrison, 17, of Berehaven Drive and a 15-year-old juvenile, who is not being named. Both are being charged as adults with first degree robbery and weapons possession charges.

Det. Edward Guzdek administered the charges. The two men are suspected of committing the armed robberies that took place on Sept. 9 on Grandview Drive and Sept. 21 on Travers Boulevard.

They were arraigned by Judge Geoffrey Klein and held on $25,000 bail each.

The Sweet Home School District confirmed that Morrision was registered to begin school in September but has not been in attendance.
