Heritage Centers will host 'Corks and Forks'

Heritage Centers is announcing the availability of 200 tickets to its first annual "Corks and Forks" event.

This wine and food pairing will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 in the lobby of the Larkin Building, 726 Exchange St., Buffalo.

Tickets are $40 per person and must be purchased in advance.

The evening will pair six local wine purveyors with local restaurants to showcase the harmony of wine and cuisine.

Highlighted wineries and distributors include: Empire Distributors, Fulkerson Winery, Georgetown Square Wine and Liquor, Lauber Distributors, Martin Scott Wines and Niagara Landing Winery. Featured restaurants include: ChocoLogo, Gourmet Store, Kennedy's Cove, Shango, The Friar's Table, and Verbena Restaurant and Wine Bar.

"Corks and Forks" will also feature a silent and live auction, including a "mystery trip."
