Couple celebrate 50 years

Rita and Robert Hartmann of Clarence celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Fox Valley Club in Lancaster.

Robert Hartmann married the former Rita Zanner on Oct. 12, 1957 at St. Ann's Church in Buffalo.

Robert is a retired Buffalo firefighter.

The couple enjoy dancing and traveling.

They have four children and 12 grandchildren.
