Letchworth falls serve as backdrop for ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick B. Garrett
Donna Jean Vohwinkel married Patrick Brian Garrett in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 in front of the Middle Falls overlook at the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth State Park. The Rev. Dr. Jack Porcello officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia F. and Ronald C. Vohwinkel of Elma. The groom is the son of R. Lynn and Mark F. Garrett of Covington, Ga.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an eggshell silk, duchess satin, A-line gown with a pleated sweetheart neckline accented with jeweled trim at the empire waist and a chapel-length train. She wore a cathedral-length veil and a rhinestone tiara. She carried a nosegay bouquet of spray roses, tuberoses, blue tweedia, tea roses and lisianthus.

The bridesmaids were Jennifer Dollman, Janice Mertzlufft and Jody Vohwinkel, sisters of the bride.

The flower girls were Sarah Mertzlufft and Rebecca Dollman, nieces of the bride.

The ushers were Mark Garrett, father of the groom, and Andrew Sirmon and Richard Carter, friends of the groom.

A reception was held outside at the Glen Iris Inn. The couple traveled to Glacier National Park in Montana and Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada for their honeymoon.
