Jeffrey Guarino and Lindsay Craven

Kim and William Craven of Clarence Center announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Craven, to Jeffrey Guarino, son of Barbara and Lawrence Guarino of Doylestown, Pa., formerly of Alden.

Miss Craven graduated from Clarence High School in 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance from the University at Buffalo in 2004. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater arts from the University of Arizona in 2006. She is a dance professor at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I., and Providence College in Providence, R.I.

Her fiance graduated from Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown in 1998. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration and sports management from Widener University in Chester, Pa., in 2002. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Niagara University in 2006. He is the director of business sales for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.

A summer 2008 wedding is planned.
