Grandmother's wedding prayer book carried by bride

Melanie Gorenflo married Jack Kuritzky in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 at St. Christopher Church in Tonawanda.. Monsignor Francis Weldgen officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara and Gary Gorenflo of Pendleton. The groom is the son of Kathleen and Alan Kuritzky of Snyder.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a strapless, beaded and embroidered champagne satin gown with a pickup skirt, almond-colored sash and a chapel-length train. Her elbow length veil was accented with crystal beading. She carried her grandmother's wedding prayer book and a hand-tied fall bouquet of mini calla lilies, ranunculus, roses, celosia and hypericum berries.
The maid of honor was Megan Gorenflo, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kerry Steffan, Rebecca Zdrojewski, Emily Coon and Janel Carlson, friends of the bride.
The flower girl was Freya Mellander, goddaughter of the groom.
The best man was Benjamin Kuritzky, brother of the groom. The ushers were Samuel Kuritzky, brother of the groom, and Christopher Lawrence, Joshua Miller, Brian Morray, Colin Bauer and Brian Weil, friends of the groom.
A reception was held at Harry's Harbour Place Grille in Buffalo. The couple will be at home in Rochester after honeymooning in St. Lucia.
