Meetings IAAP meeting scheduled The Buffalo Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals invites members and guests to find out more about the chapter and the association. Buffalo Chapter webmaster Maureen Kirchmyer will travel down Internet Alley with a demonstration on how to navigate through the new IAAP web community and talk about the benefits of visiting the site. Author to give banking talk Jonathan Knee, author of "The Accidental Investment Banker: Inside the Decade that Transformed Wall Street," will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in the screening room in the Center for the Arts on the University at Buffalo North Campus, Amherst. The topic of the free public lecture will be "Is Investment Banking a Profession?" It will be sponsored by the UB School of Management and School of Law. It will be the third annual event in the Gerald S. Lippes speaker series. Knee is a senior managing director at Evercore Partners. Prior to becoming an investment banker, Knee was director of international affairs at United Airlines and served as adjunct professor of law at Northwestern University.
