REGIONALS - The Amherst Skating Club is hosting the 2008 North Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Championships through Saturday at the Amherst Pepsi Center, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive. The event will feature over 300 local-area competitors from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. ASC hosted the 1974, 1998, 2001 and 2005 championships. ASC's Amanda Gordon took bronze in last year's junior ladies division. The cost is $5 per day; all-event passes are $15. For more information, visit www.amherstskatingclub.org.
