AYB Winter Day Camp registration set

The Amherst Youth Board will begin accepting applications for its Winter Day Camp Programs for children ages 5-11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19.

Evening registration will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.

The Youth Board's Winter Camp Program offers educational activities, field trips, guest speakers, and arts and crafts.

Camp activities are designed to enhance each child's social, emotional and physical growth and development. Children are encouraged to develop new skills in a safe atmosphere of fun and fair play.

Interested individuals can register for Winter Camp Programs in person at the Amherst Youth Board Office, 4255 Harlem Road.

Applicants must bring their most current tax form, as fees are based on a sliding scale according to income.

There is a $15 registration fee for Amherst residents and a $25 registration fee for nonresidents.
