Boy Scout Troop 85 recently returned from a camping trip to the Lake Placid-Whiteface Mountain area. Scouts and leaders were treated to gondola rides up Little Whiteface before they hiked up to the top of Whiteface. Recent past adventures include Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water/ white water rafting, Howe Caverns/Herkimer Diamond Mines, Stillwater canoeing and Alex Bay. In October, the 61-year-old troop plans an Arcade and Attica Railroad trip and a Letchworth camping trip. For more information, visit bsatroop85.com.
