Caribbean cruise follows Amherst reception

Wendy Marie Smith married Brandon Michael Clark in a late afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at St. Pius X Church in Getzville. Monsignor George B. Yiengst and the Rev. Dr. J. Morris Smith officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Buck Smith of Amherst. The groom is the son of Joanne Clark of Williamsville and Alvin Clark Jr. of Kenmore.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a simple A-line gown with a chocolate-brown sash and jeweled brooch. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies and hydrangea with seeded eucalyptus.

The maid of honor was Melissa Clark, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids were Katie Hebbert, cousin of the bride, and Heidi Sparks and Lauren Walkowski, friends of the bride.

The flower girl was Aubrey Strom, cousin of the groom.

The best man was Trevor Clark, brother of the groom. The ushers were Phil and Tim Smith, brothers of the bride, and Evan Pease, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at the Fairdale Banquet Center in Amherst.

The couple are honeymooning on a Caribbean cruise.
