Pair take Alaskan cruise

Mr. and Mrs. Brendan Brinkwor th
Carolyn Kraus married Brendan Brinkworth in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Holy Cross Church in Salamanca. The Rev. Joseph Dudzik officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Norman Kraus of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Mary Brinkworth of Buffalo and the late Dennis Brinkworth Jr.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory silk, floor-length, goddess-style gown with a refined finish and an elegant drape. Her finger-length veil was designed and handmade by her mother. She carried a dozen white roses.

The matron of honor was Kathryn Greene, sister of the bride.

The flower girl was Taryn Koeppen, niece of the groom.

The best man was Adam Sherris, friend of the groom. The ushers were Larkin Brinkworth and Liam Waters, nephews of the groom.

The ring bearer was Patrick Gilbert, nephew of the bride.

A reception was held at the Creekside Lodge at the Holiday Valley resort in Ellicottville.

The couple are at home after taking an Alaskan cruise.
