Lowest of the Low singer performs wedding song

Stephanie Fontana and Christopher Dingess
Stephanie Fontana married Christopher Dingess in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at St. Louis Church in Buffalo. Monsignor J. Patrick Keleher officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marian and Frank Fontana of Getzville. The groom is the son of Betty Ann and Billy Ray Dingess of Sunset Beach, N.C.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

She wore a Monique Lhuillier ivory satin, strapless gown with lace and sage ribbon accents, along with her mother's cathedral length veil. She carried a bouquet of green orchids, Fuji mums and Bells of Ireland.

The maid of honor was Michelle Miller, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Karen Goeckel, Denise Moretti and Jennifer Aquino, cousins of the bride, and Angela Berti, Deborah Moran and Ann Marie Pellegrino, friends of the bride.

The best man was Edward Bellafiore III, friend of the groom. The ushers were Tim Dingess, brother of the groom, and Michael Cohen, Chris Dorne, Corey Reed, Sunil Nayar and Kevin Deiboldt, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Mary Seaton Room of Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo. The groom surprised the bride by having Ron Hawkins, lead singer of Lowest of the Low, perform their wedding song, "Rosy and Gray."

The couple make their home in Los Angeles.
