Groom writes, performs song for bride

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew L. Ferraro

Lisa Marie Bogdan married Matthew L. Ferraro on Saturday Sept. 15, 2007 at Holy Spirit Church in Buffalo. The Rev. Joseph Wolf officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and David Bogdan of Kenmore. The groom is the son of Teresa and Matthew Ferraro of Hamburg.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory satin, tiered gown. Her bouquet was an arrangement of roses, lilies and hydrangeas wrapped in satin.

The matron of honor was Ali Brosky-Beyder, friend of the bride.

The best man was Thomas Ferraro, brother of the groom.

A reception was held at Sean Patrick's Emerald Isle in Amherst, where the groom performed a song he wrote for the bride.

The couple will travel to Mexico next year for their honeymoon.
