Students thanked
      Good news doesn't happen every day. My husband and I operate a charity where, on selected days, the fishing preserve at Little Lake George in Alden is open for fishing with an admission fee that helps keep up the charity. The area is a wonderful green space with a 15-acre spring-fed lake.

      I am surprised and disappointed with the article in the Sept. 26 Amherst Bee titled "Development project draws resident concerns." While I'm sure that the intent of the report was to be evenhanded, it failed to capture the full extent of the residents' concerns.
