Meetings for sales, marketing execs The Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives will hold its monthly dinner at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at the Marriott Hotel, 1340 Millersport Highway, Amherst. The event, to feature Marsha Henderson, vice president of external affairs at the University at Buffalo, is being held in conjunction with the annual Student Day in the Field. Those interested in participating during the afternoon prior to the dinner as a mentor to an area college student should contact Jeanne Hellert at 662-2279 or bnsme@bnsme.org. Heritage Centers announces scholarship Heritage Centers has announced The Reville Scholarship, awarded to students enrolled full time in any year of college, training in a field related to intellectual and other developmental disabilities, and not currently employed by a New York State Association of Regional Councils agency. There are two annual awards of $3,000 per recipient. They are paid in installments of $750 per semester for any two years the student is enrolled in college within a four-year period from the time the scholarship is awarded. People currently receiving an NYSARC scholarship are not eligible to receive simultaneous scholarships. Canisius hosts business school family forum The Canisius College Wehrle School of Business will hold a Family Business Forum from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Highway, Amherst. |
