Couple exchange vows as guests fight house fire

Kindel changes political colors

      Amherst Town Board Member William Kindel has filed to change his political affiliation from the Republican Party to the Conservative Party. The change will take effect Jan. 1, 2008, after his current bid for re-election to the board on the Conservative and Working Families lines.

Millard Suburban expansion hits milestone
Phase one completed
      Completion of phase one of the $64 million expansion of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital was marked Tuesday morning by an official grand opening of the lobby, surgical waiting room and admissions department. The hospital, at 1540 Maple Road near MacArthur Drive in Amherst, opened in 1974.
