Friday, Sept. 21

• An elderly woman on Morgan Parkway reported strange noises on her back patio "as if someone was out there."

• A hang-up 911 call from Cindy Drive turned out to be a 14-year-old girl and her friend who were just pushing buttons on the phone. There were no parents home.

• Two suspects displayed knives and stole two sub sandwiches and $50 from an individual on Travers Boulevard. The suspects then ran back into an apartment building.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• A Palmdale Drive resident reported that a National Fuel employee trespassed when he knocked on his door, waking the complainant out of bed, then attempted to enter the residence with a skeleton key, which the employee is not supposed to have. The complainant yelled at the employee not to enter, but the employee did so anyway.

• A baby deer was reported trapped in the back yard of a Frankhauser Drive home.

• A motorist driving on Berwin Drive reported that two nooses were hanging from a tree. Patrol did not find nooses, but ropes were hanging from a tree with knots in them for climbing.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• An intoxicated female at a Maple Road hotel was screaming in the lobby that a large number of guests in her room had kicked her out with her 2-year-old child still inside.

• An "older" female refused to leave a Niagara Falls Boulevard gas station because the clerk had asked for her ID for the lottery machine and she stayed to make sure the clerk asked everyone their date of birth before buying a lottery ticket.

• A man was attempting to sell golf clubs from the trunk of his car on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Monday, Sept. 24

• A bat was reported in the closet of a Randwood Drive home.

• Jewelry was stolen from a Little Robin Road address.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

• A complainant on Larch Road reported that he found an insurance card possibly from the person "who may have entered his house last evening."

• A complainant on Main Street reported co-signing for a loan that was canceled by signer and co-signer. A check for $30,000 was mailed and cashed, but neither the signer nor co-signer received or cashed it.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

• A Sudbury Lane resident reportedly unlocked his front door but could not open it and was suspicious that someone was inside.

• A fast-food restaurant manager on Niagara Falls Boulevard reported a customer who was "irate over the price of a value meal" and said the suspect made threats to the restaurant's employees.

Thursday, Sept. 27

• A complainant found a black plastic bag on Audubon Parkway that contained what appeared to be a dead animal, but there was a strange smell coming from the bag so the complainant was not sure. Patrol located the bag and concluded that it was an animal but it was still unknown what kind of animal it was.
