David L. Dempsey, 77, of Lockport, formerly of Clarence, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at Northgate Health Care Facility.

Dempsey

Born in Buffalo, Mr. Dempsey was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed at Worthington Compressor in Buffalo for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, June; two sons, David, of Buford, Ga., and Thomas, of Clarence Center; one daughter, Deborah Widman, of Macomb, Mich.; one brother, Charles Dempsey, of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Laura Dempsey, of Kenmore; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 4275 Harris Hill Road, Williamsville. Arrangements were made by Hamp Fu- neral Home, Inc., Tonawanda.
