Carolina Kids opens Young America Signature Shop

Carolina Kids Inc. continues to grow in Western New York with the Sept. 15 grand opening of its Young America Signature Shop, 3101 Sheridan Drive in Northtown Plaza.

With the Young America Built to Grow concept, the shop aims to "furnish the rooms where children dream."

Owners are Tom and Michelle Worthington and Dale Bielicki. The family-owned business began 12 years ago and has grown to include three locations in the Western New York area. The new 3,000-square-foot Young America Signature Shop is located within the 8,000-square-foot store.

The company also has the Carolina Furniture Gallery at 3115 Sheridan Drive and another store in West Seneca.

Fully accessorized and furnished vignettes help parents visualize decorating ideas and room layouts, while videos focus on Young America's style, safety and durability. A design area, which overlooks a children's play area, incorporates accessory and bedding displays.

Carolina Kids showcases 15 Young America collections that are Built to Grow to show the different stages of a child's development. Children can customize their rooms with the new myHaven collection, a myriad of 20 wood and painted finishes, available for each of the 30 pieces in the collection.
