Dinner marks 50-year anniversar y

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Giallanza

Elaine and Joseph Giallanza of Elma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 with a dinner for friends and family at the Lancaster Country Club.

Joseph Giallanza married the former Elaine Peterson on Sept. 21, 1957 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Lancaster.

Joseph and Elaine are both retired from Josela Enterprises Inc., where they worked side by side as partners in the business for more than 40 years.

The couple enjoy playing tennis and spending the winter months in Florida.

They have six children and 10 grandchildren.
