Couple receive guests at Samuel's Grande Manor

Mr. and Mrs. Brent J. Novak
Amy M. Mariano married Brent J. Novak in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Clarence. Monsignor Frederick Leising officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Bonita Morgante of Clarence and James Mariano of Buffalo. The groom is the son of Marcy Pancake and Joseph Novak, both of Cleveland.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory satin gown fashioned with a semi-sweetheart neckline. The bodice was hand-beaded, with an intricate design that continued onto the back skirt of the semi-cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of pale roses and wildflowers.

The maid of honor was Cheri Zimmerman, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Christina Hartke, cousin of the bride; Brittany and Krista Novak, daughters of the groom; and Rosalie Giamo, friend of the groom.

The flower girl was Calista Mariano, niece and goddaughter of the bride.

The best man was Joseph Novak, father of the groom. The ushers were James and Daniel Mariano, brothers of the bride, and Jeffrey Bernachia, friend of the groom.

The ring bearer was Dominic Mariano, nephew of the bride. A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor in Clarence. The couple is at home after honeymooning in Ischia, Italy.
