Couple honeymoon in Hawaii

Julie L. Schaefer married Christian M. Castiglione in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at St. Augustine's Church in Depew. The Rev. Conrad Stachowiak officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jo Ann and Neil Schaefer of Elma. The groom is the son of Kathleen and Carmen Castiglione of Depew.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded lace features, a bow at the waist and a semi-cathedral-length train.

The matron of honor was Heather Stierheim, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Schaefer, sister-in-law of the bride; Mandy Castiglione, sister of the groom; and Carrie Archer, Claire Beals and Julie Bellis, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Madeline Schaefer, niece of the bride, and Makenzie Castiglione, niece of the groom.

The best man was Joseph Pagano Jr., friend of the groom. The ushers were Scott Castiglione, brother of the groom; Jeffrey Schaefer, brother of the bride; and John Benzinger, Scott Kulpa and Aaron Pfeiffer, friends of the groom.

The ring bearers were Julian Schaefer, nephew of the bride, and Maxwell Castiglione, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at the Lancaster Country Club.

The couple are honeymooning in Hawaii.
