AAUW brunch set to highlight museum, People Inc.

The American Association of University Women's Buffalo branch will highlight the Museum of disABILITY History at a brunch program starting 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Holiday Inn Airport, 4600 Genesee Street, Cheektowaga.

The cost to attend the breakfast buffet and program is $17. The event venue is fully accessible.

Guest speaker will be Douglass Platt, curator of the Museum of disABILITY, and a performance by Kids on the Block. Both are projects of People, Inc.

The museum's exhibits, collections, archives and educational programs create awareness and discovery.

Kids on the Block relays the message that being different is a universal condition that should be celebrated.
