Helen DiMartina, restaurant owner

Helen DiMartina, 92, of Cheektowaga, formerly of Williamsville, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at ElderWood Healthcare at Oakwood, Amherst.

Born in Buffalo, Mrs. DiMartina owned Martina's Lounge, Page One Restaurant, Itsy Bitsy Restaurant, and Mister Dee's Restaurant with her husband until they retired in the 1980's.

She was a former member of the Amherst Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing pinochle and cooking.

Her husband, Joseph, died in 1989. She is survived by one son, Nicholas; one daughter, Charlotte, M.; one sister, Antonia Vincent; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held today, Sept. 26 at Amigone Funeral Home and Infant of Prague Church, Cheektowaga.
