Jeanne Fowler Lemen, 83, formerly of Amherst, and Northport, Fla. died on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 in Reno, Nevada.

Born in Dansville, she was active in the Amherst community and enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing golf and traveling. She visited Europe annually for many years, and was a long-time participant with the Amherst Players.

She was the wife of the late Ted, and partner of the late Jerome Zurek. She is survived by three sons, Ted, of Tiburon, Calif., David of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Scott, of Buffalo; one brother, John Fowler, of Dansville; and one grandson.
