Bob Foladare will hold a final fundraiser from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Curry's Restaurant, 864 Kenmore Ave., Buffalo, across from St. Joseph's High School. A donation of $25 includes beer, wine, well drinks, pop and hors d'oeuvres. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Bob Foladare, and can be mailed to: Friends of Bob Foladare, c/o Jack Baker, 359 Willow Green Drive, Amherst, NY 14228. He is endorsed by the Democratic Party for Amherst Town Board.

Guy Marlette, candidate for Amherst Town Council, will hold a fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at Sonoma Grille, 5010 Main St., Snyder. The cost is $99, or $150 per couple, and includes open bar, and hors d'oeuvres. Make checks payable to: Committee to Elect Guy Marlette.
