Nicholas Bergman and Danielle Stubbendeck

Karen and Kirk Stubbendeck of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Stubbendeck, to Nicholas Bergman, son of Bonnie and Paul Bergman of Grand Island.

Miss Stubbendeck graduated from Williamsville East High School in 2001. She graduated summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College with a bachelor's degree in business management and communications in 2005 and a master's degree in human resource development in 2007. She is a human resource specialist with the Canandaigua Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Her fiance graduated from Grand Island High School in 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree in sports management in 2005 from St. John Fisher College. He works as a store director at Steve and Barry's and is working on his master's degree in business administration at St. John Fisher College.

A December 2007 wedding is planned.
