Nancy and Martin Smith of Kenmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Smith, to Jeffrey Harold Viksjo, son of Linda and Thomas Viksjo of East Amherst.

Miss Smith graduated from Kenmore West High School in 2002. She earned a degree in finance and economics from Canisius College in 2006. She works as a senior reinsurance analyst at Benfield Inc. in Chicago.

Her fiance graduated from Williamsville North High School in 2002. He graduated with a degree in finance and economics from Canisius College in 2006. He is a stock analyst at Morningstar in Chicago.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
