Pair take Fiji honeymoon

Amy Lynn Marciniak married Franklin Spencer Kapperman in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 at St. Pius X Church in Getzville. Monsignor George Yiengst officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy and Robert Marciniak of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Judith and Spencer Kapperman of Getzville.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory, V-neck satin gown with an illusion overlay, accented with lace appliques and sequins. She carried a bouquet of ivory Vandela roses with white alstroemeria and freesia.

The maid of honor was Katie Marciniak, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Susan Singh, Lindsey Schultz and Krista Hitzel, friends of the bride.

The best man was Scott Kapperman, brother of the groom. The ushers were Patrick Kapperman, brother of the groom; Daniel Barus, cousin of the groom; and Jeffrey Schneider, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Marinaccio's in Williamsville.

The couple are at home in Williamsville after honeymooning in Fiji.
